The screening tour of D’ici mais d’ailleurs and Venue de loin continued with outstanding success in Brooks and Medicine Hat.

These events brought together community members, students, and school staff for meaningful discussions on identity, immigration, inclusion, and living together within Francophone minority communities.
The conversations following the screenings highlighted the importance of creating intercultural dialogue spaces—especially for youth—to strengthen mutual understanding and foster respect for diversity.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to:
REFIA (Réseau des Enseignants Franco-Immigrants de l’Alberta) for its valuable collaboration and support;
The Brooks community for its warm welcome and engagement;
The participating schools in Medicine Hat for their openness, commitment, and the quality of the exchanges.
These successful stops reaffirm the relevance of this initiative and strengthen Pont Cultural Bridge’s mission to build lasting bridges between cultures while promoting an inclusive and dynamic Francophone community in Alberta.
