PRESS RELEASE For immediate release
Cultural Bridge Victim of Second Burglary in Three Weeks
Edmonton, September 16, 2025 – The Pont Cultural Bridge (PCB) regrets with deep dismay a second burglary at its premises within three weeks. This latest break-in resulted in significant material and administrative losses, including equipment and documentation essential to the continuation of our activities.
These repeated acts of sabotage undermine not only our resources, but also the daily efforts of our team, our volunteers and our partners, in the interest of the community.
Despite these challenges, the PCB remains determined and faithful to its mission: to build inclusive, vibrant, and supportive communities through culture, education, and community development. We will continue to work with dignity, honor, and commitment to provide our members and the public with meaningful and impactful services and programs.
We call for collective vigilance and solidarity so that such harmful and destructive acts do not hinder the construction of a strong and united French-speaking world.
