8th Edition of the Francophone School and Intercommunity Contest for Stories, Poems and Slams


Pont Cultural Bridge (PCB) is pleased to announce the 8th edition of the Francophone contest “Les Contes et Légendes de Chez Nous.” This initiative celebrates creativity, artistic expression, and the richness of the French language within our communities.

This event brings together students, young artists, and literature enthusiasts through creative expression in three forms: storytelling, poetry, and slam.


2026 Theme : The Book, My Friend


Participants are invited to explore, through their creations, the unique relationship between people and books—as a source of knowledge, imagination, memory, and cultural transmission.


Who Can Participate?

The contest is open to children and youth aged 15 and under from:

  • Francophone and French-immersion schools

  • Francophone community groups

  • Arts and cultural troupes

  • Young enthusiasts of storytelling, poetry, and slam
