A morning of sport, wellness, and community leadership at Brooks
On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the Southern Alberta cohort of the Leaders of Tomorrow project successfully organized the "Sport & Relaxation Morning" activity, dedicated to the Brooks community.
The event took place in a friendly, dynamic, and welcoming atmosphere, promoting physical well-being, community interaction, and intergenerational connections. Participants had the opportunity to share an enjoyable moment of sport, relaxation, and socialization in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
This activity was entirely conceived, planned, and organized by the young participants of the Leaders of Tomorrow project, demonstrating their leadership skills, organizational abilities, and commitment to their community. Throughout the event, the young leaders displayed initiative, professionalism, and a remarkable spirit of collaboration.
This wonderful initiative was made possible with the support of REFIA (Réseau des Enseignants Franco-Immigrants de l'Alberta) , a partner committed to the development of youth leadership and community involvement in Francophone Alberta.
Through this type of activity, the Leaders of Tomorrow project continues to train a committed next generation, capable of designing and implementing concrete actions to promote well-being and community dynamism.
